At PCBuildCentral, we want you to be completely satisfied with your PC components purchase. This return policy outlines the conditions under which you can return products purchased through our Platform.
Return Window
You can request a return within 15 days from the date of delivery for most PC components. After 15 days, returns will not be accepted unless the product is covered under manufacturer warranty.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
- The product must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition
- All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and warranty cards must be intact
- The product must have all original seals and anti-tamper stickers unbroken
- The invoice/receipt must be provided with the return
- The product must not show any signs of physical damage, misuse, or modification
Products Eligible for Return
- Processors (CPUs) - sealed and unused
- Graphics Cards (GPUs) - sealed and unused
- Motherboards - sealed and unused
- RAM/Memory modules - sealed and unused
- Storage devices (SSDs, HDDs) - sealed and unused
- Power Supplies (PSUs) - sealed and unused
- PC Cases - unopened/unused
- Cooling solutions - sealed and unused
- Peripherals (keyboards, mice, monitors) - sealed and unused
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Products with broken seals or tampered anti-static packaging
- Installed or used components (showing thermal paste residue, bent pins, etc.)
- Software, digital downloads, or license keys
- Custom-built PCs assembled by PCBuildCentral (covered under separate warranty)
- Products purchased during flash sales or clearance (marked as "non-returnable")
- Products with physical damage caused by the customer
- Items returned without original packaging or accessories
Return Process
- Initiate Return: Log in to your account and go to "My Orders" to initiate a return request, or contact our support team
- Approval: Our team will review your request and approve it within 24-48 hours
- Pickup/Drop-off: Once approved, you can either schedule a pickup or drop the product at our designated location
- Quality Check: Upon receiving the product, we will inspect it within 2-3 business days
- Resolution: If the product passes quality check, we will process a refund or replacement as per your preference
Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a damaged, defective, or wrong product, please report it within 48 hours of delivery. Take photos/videos of the damaged packaging and product before opening completely. We will arrange for a free pickup and provide a replacement or full refund.
DOA (Dead on Arrival) Products
If a product is found to be non-functional upon first use (DOA), report it within 15 days of delivery with proof (video showing the issue). We will provide a replacement or full refund after verification. DOA claims may require our technical team to verify the issue.
Return Shipping
- Damaged/Defective/Wrong Product: Return shipping is free; we will arrange pickup
- Change of Mind: Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer
Manufacturer Warranty
Most PC components come with manufacturer warranty (ranging from 1 to 10 years depending on the product). After the 15-day return window, warranty claims should be directed to the manufacturer's authorized service center. We can assist you with warranty claim procedures and provide purchase proof when required.
