Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines how you can cancel orders or seek refunds for products purchased through PCBuildCentral. We strive to process all refunds quickly and fairly.
Order Cancellation
Before Shipping
- Orders can be cancelled free of charge before they are shipped
- To cancel, go to "My Orders" in your account or contact our support team
- Cancellation requests are typically processed within 2-4 hours during business hours
- Full refund will be initiated immediately upon successful cancellation
After Shipping
- Once the order is shipped, cancellation is not possible
- You may refuse delivery at the doorstep (applicable to prepaid orders only)
- For COD orders that are refused, no refund is applicable as no payment was made
- After delivery, you can initiate a return as per our Return Policy
Custom PC Builds: Orders for custom-assembled PCs cannot be cancelled once assembly has begun. Please review your configuration carefully before placing the order.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds are processed in the following cases:
- Order cancelled before shipping
- Product received is damaged, defective, or DOA (Dead on Arrival)
- Wrong product delivered
- Product returned within 15 days as per Return Policy (subject to inspection)
- Order not delivered within the promised timeframe (after investigation)
Refund Process
- Request Initiation: Submit a refund request through your account or contact support
- Verification: Our team verifies the request and product condition (for returns)
- Approval: Once approved, refund is initiated within 24-48 hours
- Processing: Refund is credited to your original payment method

Note: Refund timelines are indicative and may vary based on your bank's processing time. If you don't receive your refund within the expected time, please contact your bank first, then reach out to us.
Refund Amount
- Full Refund: For cancelled orders (before shipping), damaged/defective products, or wrong deliveries
- Partial Refund: May apply if product packaging is damaged or accessories are missing (deduction based on assessment)
- Shipping Charges: Original shipping charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns. Shipping is refunded for damaged/defective products
- COD Charges: COD handling fees (if any) are non-refundable
Non-Refundable Items
- Software licenses and digital downloads
- Products with broken seals or tampered packaging
- Products that have been installed or used
- Items marked as "non-refundable" during purchase (clearance/flash sales)
- Gift cards and store credits
Replacement Option
Instead of a refund, you may opt for a replacement of the same product (subject to availability). Replacements are typically faster than refunds and are processed within 3-5 business days after pickup of the original item.
